KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

We decided to keep going on the trip, not caring to talk about what we both were dreading–Laney following us. The day was warm and we both felt good. We encountered another town, but decided to go through quickly and avoid any further problems. I felt a little betrayed. School never taught me that the UK was speciesist. It could just be that one town, but Laney made it sound like it was all over Europe. It worried me.

The day passed in relative silence and though we were making good progress, we wanted to put some ground between us and Laney. Thus–a train.

We had just bought our ticket when this fennec that worked at the station, who looked like he was barely five feet, came up to us.

"Excuse me, are you Brent Phillips?" he said.

"Yeah, that's me."

He grabbed my hand and shook it enthusiastically. "Collin McTavish. It is a huge honour to meet you, Mr. Phillips. I'm such a huge fan, Brent. Can I call you Brent?"

"Um... Yeah? It's my name." I was mortified at his hyper-fanboying.

"You're a hero around these parts. We, the Furs in the town held a big rally about a year ago asking for the same rights that our humans got and they gave it to us! They said it was because of you and what you did. If it weren't for you, I never would have gotten this job."

"That's great, I'm happy I could help."

I glanced back at Jake and he shrugged.

"And you!" the fennec grabbed Jake's hand. "You must be Jake Carter."

"Wow, you must be a fan of his if you know who I am." Jake smiled.

"Well, I am the president of his fan club," the small fox tilted his head towards me. "I know everything about Brent."

"Alright, I'm a little weirded out now."

"Oh! I am so sorry. I'm not trying to be creepy, but it's not every day you meet the guy who changed history."

The fox would not shut up until Jake shut him up.

"Now, Collin, as cute as you are, and believe me, you are cute, we really got to get going."

I felt a stab of jealousy.

The fox giggled and lowered his ears to his head, cheeks flushing. "I must be dreaming if a gorgeous wolf like you is calling me cute."

The knife twisted.

"Honey, if you were dreaming, we'd both be naked right now," Jake put his arm to the wall behind the fennec, towering over him as he brought his face closer to the fennec's own. They both closed their eyes as they moved their lips closer to each other.

I felt like I was going to be sick. I coughed and they both shook themselves out of their little game.

"We really gotta be going. It was nice to meet you though, Collin." I bumped Jake as I moved past, and tried to calm down from what I just saw. He couldn't do that to me. He's mine! What was I saying; he didn't even know that I liked him!

When Jake and I finally got to the platform we needed, the familiar voice of Collin came over the intercom.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to welcome a couple very special guests. Brent Phillips and Jake Carter!"

The crowd erupted and swarmed us. People were snapping pics with their phones and coming up to me, shaking hands with me, thanking me for everything I'd done. Bears, goats, deer, does, cheetahs, raccoons, every species, even a lot of humans. A few girls came out of nowhere and kissed me, one girl flashed her tits, and another one gave me a key to her hotel room.

Finally Jake came to my rescue.

"People!" He screamed loud enough to break the wall of people separating us. "Will you please let us get to our train? For pete's sake! He's just a normal guy!"

While the throng of people didn't disperse completely, we were able to make to it the train where we plopped into the first available seats. Right before the train pulled out of the station, a couple sat at the seats across from us.

It was a human girl with short, light brown hair and two different colored eyes, green and blue. The guy was a husky. He was pretty muscular, and had a faux hawk that stood at a couple inches. He had several piercings in his ears, nose and eyebrow.

"Sorry," the girl said. "I didn't want to annoy you, but I just... I'm a huge fan. When you did, well, everything you did... Everything changed. People changed."

"Yeah," the guy said, smiling at us. "I mean, we met through a friend and hit it off right away, but had to hide whenever we went on dates. We hated it."

The girl smiled and kissed her husky's hand. "You made us actually able to be open and not hide."

"And then, last week I was finally able to propose to her," the husky grabbed her hand and showed us the ring which had a beautiful sapphire in it. "We're getting married in January, thanks to you."

"Congratulations. I'm happy for you two," I said, feeling my patience for fans fading.

"Is there a wedding in the future for the two of you?" the girl asked.

We both laughed and Jake just shook his head.

"No, he's not into guys," Jake said.

"Oh, sorry. I just..." She looked terrified, and I could see her try to backtrack what she just said. "You guys are so close, and always together, I just thought-"

"No it's fine," I said, putting her fears to rest. "You didn't know."

Jake cut in. "But, guys, we really need to rest, so..."

"Oh, yeah," the guy said, standing up and shaking our hands. "We'll let you sleep. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks."

They walked out and left Jake and I alone.

"Thanks for that," I said.

"No problem," he replied. "I'm used to people crowding around for pictures. It's what happens whenever I whip out my cock."

I laughed at him and punched him in the arm.

"Which is worse? Swarmed by fans or kicked out by humans?" Jake asked.

"Fans. I'm used to 'mans being assholes," I leaned back in my seat and Jake did the same, using my legs as an ottoman.

"You know what, Brent? I think it's good that we're going on this trip. We can call it your victory tour."

* * *

That night, now that we were in London, we stayed at a nice hotel but still just in one bed, to save money of course. When Jake was asleep, I did the unspeakable...

I put my hands on his bare chest and felt up and down his body. I thought he might wake, but each time he made a noise it was a happy one. And each time he stirred, I felt more compelled. I reached my hand down and touched his sheath through the fabric and he let out the softest, cutest moan. He turned towards me and I leaned down and kissed him very gently.

Finally, I sat up and shook my head before I rolled and laid down in bed, ignoring the huge erection that was straining against my boxers.
