Dragoness's Fury by Anoroth (Commission)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
This incredibly cool commission was drawn by anoroth! Go check it out in their gallery here. They've made Adhara seem so ferocious and dangerous with the sharp claws, the glow of the fire she's about to unleash, not to mention the perspective of her swooping around a mountain to bring the roar to somebody! It's so awesome :D
As for the how, it's surely common knowledge that dragons are so territorial! They don't take kindly to intruders, though how they react might depend on their identity. Some hikers, maybe they just get a warning roar to turn around, people who want to camp or pass through, they might get some more specific threats, because a dragoness wants her territory to herself! If they're creeping around, who knows what they might try to find or steal or do, after all!
But dragons have always brought their biggest feeling of rivalry towards other things that fly. Planes usually fly too high, and helicopters know better. But enthusiasts trying to fly drones around to get cool footage? Well, they'll get some cool video if and only if the camera survives the furious dragoness rocketing in pursuit. Whether with claws, teeth, or fire, she's going to bring that whirring machine down and she's gonna make sure it's perfectly clear that such intrusions are unwelcome! Imagine if the drone had tried to fly to her cave? And she might not even realize there's a camera on it unless someone told her! Oh, then she'd be even more certain to knock the thing out of the sky. Shame the footage of the chase, or anything it might have seen beforehand, is surely unrecoverable!
