Reminiscing (Snippet)
Title can't be empty.
Title can't be empty.
He didn't expect he would be able to return. Yet here he was, the husky thought with a fond smile. The dreary weather, the scuffed walls, and the chill air. It was all so familiar. Ethan sighed, his breath misting as he stretched. He missed this.
A commotion drew his ears, and the male chortled quietly while turning his eye toward it. Fondly gazing as the coyote and ocelot screamed at one another. Arguing about the payment for the new job the ocelot accepted apparently. Ethan shook his head and turned his eye back to the large hangar.
He lingered on the memories of his time spent here. Learning how to fit in with the gentle courtesan, how to use his newfound freedom, and mold his new, shapeless form. Relishing the memory of gentle caresses from her hands. The warmth of her body and love and red fur. The kindness despite the fear his presence elicited. A loud racket of a frustrated kick on metal and subsequent, pained cursing brought him back.
"I'll have to go back to my boys now," Ethan whispered, the wind felt like a gentle nudge. He smiled, "Thank you for everything, Lia."
---- ---- End ---- ----
Well... I am a bit late with this upload. This took a while for me to complete. I've had his story in my mind for the past year now. It's gone through several changes but I feel this is the version I'll be able to fully commit to.
Along with these changes in the story, I've never been able to really settle on his appearance. But as I developed my universe privately with some friends. I managed to settle on this one. Ethan has been one of my oldest characters. I am very fond of him. Even though he only started as a reason for me to do body horror-related things, haha.
I'm still learning how to get better at this whole art thing. And comparing this one to the ones I've finished in the past two years. My progress is slow. But I am still incredibly satisfied with it.
I'm feeling confident enough to share more of my stories here now.
