Half of the view I had sitting by the side of the pond, watching little frogs and dragonflies and wasps.

The other half of the pond got several bad pictures taken.

I have no worries dipping my feet in the clear shallow water, but that's as far as I ever go into the water here. Plenty of safer, cleaner places to swim. And those pools won't have unknown wildlife that might be lurking out of sight waiting to snack on tasty toes. I've seen alligator snapping turtles locally. Never at the pond, but they move around and I'd not like to have one surprise my toes underwater.
