For Hyrule!!
OMG I'm so excited about this piece!!!
For a looooong time, I've thought how cool it might be to have a pic with Nero wielding the Light Arrows from the Legend of Zelda series. I just had no clue who to go to about making it look the way I wanted to.... But a couple months ago I got a partnered piece with from , and late September (the next time I thought about my Light Arrow idea) it clicked. Getting FurryBob for this pic was now my goal.
I didn't want to give Nero Link's costume, since I thought that was overdone. I originally thought, then, to give him a kind of warrior-wizard sort of costume with colors that match Zelda's normal costume. She is the one to wield the Light Arrows in the games, of course, and also I thought having my blue + Zelda's pink and gold + Link's green was a very nice four-color scheme (with minimal use of the green). The idea evolved, though, to wanting something with a fair amount of black that had gold-and-pink designs all over it in the Hylian style, Unforunately, FurryBob wasn't all that familiar with the Legend of Zelda or with Hylian-style art, so the clothes simplified a bit to what's here, although I do quite love the front frock thing that was included and the scarf that I found from Link's Hyrule Warriors design. So voila!
