I’ve recently added a profile section for triplet dragon whelps Carla, Quentin and Digory to the Friends And Foes page (https://squelfland.com/taleofhorus/horuscast/#triplets) of The Tale Of Horus’ sub-site! In this drawing, the three of them are in their little lair, which serves as a sort of clubhouse. Below is their bio!
A trio of older dragon whelps who live in the same dragon “neighborhood” as Horus and his family. With their parents away, the three are looked after by their neglectful, mean uncle. They spend a lot of time, even some nights, in a little lair of their own, rather than at home.
All three are not fed enough, so they hunt for their food. They look down upon any show of weakness. Bullying smaller dragons in the neighborhood, particularly Horus who is so loved by his parents, is an outlet for the three neglected whelps.
Carla is the youngest, and the only girl of the three. She is independent and boisterous. Although she teases her oldest brother, she looks up to him for protection. Carla would hate for anyone to see her cry. Her favorite thing is a ratty kobold plush which she sleeps with every night.
Quentin is the middle child, as well as the strongest, and a protector of his siblings. He can’t stand what he sees as Horus’s lazy, spoiled ways. Secretly, he is also very jealous of Horus’ warm home, many toys, and especially the presence of his loving parents. For these reasons, Quentin delights in cruelly tormenting Horus, an activity his siblings readily assist with.
Digory is the oldest of the three. He was born with a “bad” tail that cannot be held up. This makes flying and hunting difficult. However, he can spit out a good flame, and is a hard fighter to take down, easily overpowering his big brother when it comes to brute strength. Because he can’t hunt well alone but is fierce and brave regardless, his siblings respect him.
