Present Day

Sierra cocked her head at me, "So let me get this straight. You're saying that this Steve Perry doesn't sing anymore? And there's this other guy who took his place? I don't get it."

After last night, me and Sierra came back to the motel to sleep for another night. Since I've promised her I would tell her about Steve Perry, that's what I've been doing all morning, me and her are sitting on the furs together talking. As well as telling her that there are other bands other than Journey, and Sierra still doesn't get it.

I giggled and said, "Well Steve had a falling out with his bandmates and basically they kicked him out of the band because of it. So that's why they have Arnel Pineda now."

She still has that confused expression on her face, "Now I'm just wondering how much the world has REALLY changed, because I haven't heard of anything like this in my whole life."

I laughed and said, "Well...Things in this world have really changed, in fact they've changed a lot."

She lowered her head to my level and said, "Well I have figured that things have changed, I mean your style of clothes are different than before. But wait...You said that this year is 2010, right?"

I nodded and I gasped and said, "Wait, you said to me that you've seen knights back then, haven't you?"

She nodded, "Yes. But I never knew how much things have changed, until now."

My face went wide. Wow, she really must be old. But how are all the dragons here are still alive, including her? That's what I'm wondering. No way anyone could live for a thousand years without being dead from being old.

I stared at her. Looking at her scales. Hmmm, she doesn't look VERY old. But I wonder how she is staying young? Hell she probably doesn't know.

Then I asked her, "Sierra, ever since I've met you, I keep forgetting to ask, how long do dragons live before they grow old and die?"

She answered, "A few hundred years, maybe more. Of course I can't be real exact on the number. Our kinds lives vary on how long we live."

I shrugged, "But then how are you still alive right now? I mean all the knights and stuff like that happened maybe over a thousand years ago."

Sierra's eyes went wide and she reared back her head, "....Wow...Never thought I look this good over a thousand years."

I laughed and rubbed my neck, "Yeah." Well there has to be a scientific explanation about why she hasn't died yet and so has her kind, but what? I mean they can't be immortal, can they? Hell my brain's hurting now.

Then Sierra went on, "I mean, come on, I can't believe I still look sexy when I'm that old. I mean...That's crazy!"

I laughed again and said, "I'll admit, you do look pretty good."

She grinned at me, "Aw, thank you kindly young chap." Then we both laughed.

My thoughts went back to her age. Hmmm, I'm still pretty curious. Maybe I'll try to figure it out later.

Sierra's voice interrupted my thoughts, "Hey young chap!"

I shook my head and looked up at her, "Yes? Old lady?"

She playfully glared at me, "I'm not old. And I was just asking you about Steve Perry again."

I sighed, "Sierra, how much do I have to tell you about Steve Perry? I mean I already told you he left the band years ago and he hasn't been seen again for a long time."

She cocked her head, "Actually I'm wondering, how did you find interest in that human? I mean I've never head of him, but he sounds like a king to me. A very noble king at that."

I laughed at that statement, "Oh he's the king alright, in fact he's the king of singing!"

She cocked her head again, "Goodness Wayne, your kind's weird now."

I giggled and shook my head, "Hey it's not MY fault, you're old."

She groaned, "I've told you, I'm not old!"

Then a voice interrupted us, "Hope we're not interrupting anything." Sierra looked over me and smiled. I looked over my shoulder and smiled as well.

Cody, the small green dragon that I've named is here, along with Sierra's best friend, the big red dragon. I'll have to come up with a name for him as well. I mean I already named, Cody and that old magenta female dragon, Joanna. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard.

Cody bounded to me and sat down on his haunches, while the big red dragon sat down beside Sierra and he nuzzled her.

I said to Cody, "Hey pal, what's shaking?"

Cody cocked his head, "What's shaking? Well maybe my tail and wings, that what's shaking."

I laughed and shook my head, "No bud, what's shaking means, what are you up to? That's just my human lingo."

The big red dragon laughed, "Well young dragon, sound like we have a lot to learn from this human."

Sierra giggled and shrugged, "Tell me something I don't know."

Cody nodded his head at me, "Human lingo...Sounds cool to me."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "It'd better sound cool, I'm a human after all."

Sierra lowered her head to my level and playfully said, "Minion be nice."

Cody looked at Sierra, "Actually...Sierra, I know he's not a minion. He's just your friend."

Sierra grinned at Cody, "I know, but I still like to call him minion. He's small enough to be one."

I shot a glare at her, "Hey Sierra! I take offense to that!"

Sierra's red dragon friend exclaimed, "Yeah Sierra he take offense to that!" Then he giggled.

Sierra shot a glare at him, "You know, if you weren't my PAL from our hatchling days, I would kick your scaly ass right now."

Her friend leaned his head close to hers, "Aw...That means you like me." She rolled her eyes and then she had a guilty look on her face. And so did her red friend, cause he looked away from her.

I had a pity look for them, especially Sierra. She did tell me her friend yesterday told her he loved her and she rejected him because she was thinking about Eric. I'll be honest, I hope they get together someday. I mean, they look cute together.

Cody was the only one in the dark and asked all of us, "Hey guys, hello. The only short green dragon is right here you know."

I laughed and I patted his head, "Yeah pal, we know. We just got a lot on our minds."

Cody cocked his head, "Something I've missed?"

Sierra shook her head, "You don't want to know. Maybe later."

Then I asked Cody, "So Cody, what are you up to?"

Sierra cocked her head at me, "Cody?"

Cody smiled at her and said, "Yep that's my human name."

Sierra smiled at me, "Well Wayne, guess you're good at making up names after all."

I shrugged, "Have to name him sometime."

The red dragon looked down at me and said, "If you're wondering what me and my little friend here are up to, you see we're planning on a trip together. Well I was, but then I've found this little guy on his way here so I'm inviting him as well."

Cody cocked his head at him, "Yeah, but I still don't know where we are going." Then he beamed, "But the best part about it is, I get to leave this city for the first time in my life!"

I smiled and asked, "Oh yeah? Where are we going?"

Sierra narrowed her eyes at her red friend, "Yeah, where are we going?"

Her red friend had a guilty look in his eyes and said, "Well...Look about what happened the other day, between us. I want to make it up to you. Just for being my friend."

Sierra shook her head, "You don't need to make up anything to me. I was-"

I piped in, "Sure! We'll all go with you to wherever. It'll be fun!"

Sierra shot a glare at me and then she softened her look. She nodded at me and looked at her friend, "Sure I'll come with you. But where are we going?"

The red friend said, "To the old caves. We're our parents used to take us, outside the city."

Sierra beamed, "Wow! I haven't been there since I was little! That'll be fun!"

Me and Cody both cocked our heads, and I said, "What caves?"

Sierra grinned at me and Cody, "Trust me you two, you'll love those caves. They're beautiful! My parents used to take me and my friend here when we were hatchlings. It's amazing!"

Sierra's red friend smiled as well and said, "Trust me kids, you'll love them."

Cody got up on his feet and beamed, "Oh man, if that place is amazing, then I will not miss this!" Then he looked at me, "Can I go with you guys?"

I nodded but then I added, "But you better tell your folks about it, I don't want to get into trouble."

Cody nodded, "Ok, ok." Then he bounded for the opening of Sierra's motel room.

I asked, "Where are you going?"

Cody looked over his shoulder and said, "I need to get to classes, so I'll talk later! Bye!" Then he left the room.

While me, Sierra, and her red dragon friend were alone, Sierra looked at her friend and said, "Listen you don't have to apologize for yesterday. I was the one who rejected you."

He sighed, "I know, but still, I've felt like I was pushing you too hard. I...Never should have started it."

Sierra shook her head, "You didn't push it. I was the one who pushed you away." She smiled and then she nuzzled her friends neck. He nuzzled her back.

I smiled at the two of them, "You know, you guys look cute together, just don't do anything I wouldn't do."

Sierra's friend giggled and pulled away from her, "What would that be?"

I grinned at him, "Screw up on the first date." Then we all laughed after I've said that.

Sierra's friend giggled and said, "You know human, you're ok. You actually remind me of Eric and he was a pal. You just do."

I smiled at him, "Thanks and my name's Wayne, in case you don't know."

He smiled down at me, "Wayne? Nice name. And no I didn't know your name yet, it's just because my old friend here keeps calling you minion."

Sierra giggled and she raised her paw, "Guilty."

Her friend giggled again and then he got up on all fours and said, "Well I need to get to work, have to get in my armor for today. Remember an officer's work is never done." Then he walked past me.

Before he could leave the room he stopped in his tracks and whirled around to face me and Sierra. He said to me, "By the way, how is your leg? I haven't asked you yet."

I smiled and then I lifted my leg, "Yep it's great now, fully healed. I have to say your blood is very powerful stuff!"

He nodded, "Glad to hear it. Thank you."

I grinned and shrugged, "You're welcome, Neal."

Sierra's friend cocked his head, "What did you call me?"

I gestured to him, "Neal. I'm calling you Neal, that's your human name."

The red dragon who is now named Neal beamed at me and then his wings flared, "Neal? That's a good name! No one never named me like that before. Not even Eric."

Sierra laughed, "Lets just say he wasn't very good at coming up with names."

Neal grinned at Sierra and said, "Well me and you have another thing in common, we both have human names now. Do you like it?"

Sierra nodded, "I love it, it suits you."

I still grinned at him, "I hope you'll enjoy it."

Neal nodded, "Oh I will, and thank you!" Then he whirled around and he said while he was walking, "We'll be leaving the city tomorrow! Meet me and Cody at the top of the wall at the edge of the city!" And with that he was gone.

Sierra looked down at me and said, "Where did you come up with that name? Someone you used to know?"

I turned around to face her, "Sort of. Lets just say that name came from one of the members of Journey. His name is Neal Schon, he's the guitarist. I'm naming your best friend after that human." Then I grinned at her, "It seems perfect enough for me."

She smiled at me, "Well I like it, it suits him." Then she got up on all fours and said, "So anyways, you want to meet my uncle today? I don't think you've met him yet. Ha! Maybe you'll come up with a name for him."

I shrugged, "Maybe I will. But I don't just come up with names right away, they just pop up."

Sierra playfully grinned down at me, "And by the way, I'm going to pick you up like a hatchling and take you to my uncle, he'll laugh his head off!"

My eyes went wide and then I raised my hands, "Whoah, hold on. I will not be treated like a hatchling!"

She already got right in front of me and muttered, "Oh don't be a baby! Now be a good little hatchling and come." Then without hesitation she lowered her head and snapped her jaws on my collar line of my shirt and slowly picked me up off the ground. I yelped in surprise, while she had me high in the air, carrying me like a hatchling by the neck.

She made a few steps and giggled while she was carrying me, I didn't argue with her from then on. But while she was walking I feel like I was starting to slip out of my shirt. I tried to call out to her, "Sierra, I'm about to slip out of my-" Then I screamed when I fell out of my shirt and fell on my ass to the ground. She still had the shirt in her mouth. Her eyes went wide when she noticed.

When she saw me on the ground, she opened her mouth to let go of my shirt. The shirt falling on top of my head and she muttered, "You can have the shirt back."

While the shirt was on my head, I muttered, "Thank you."

*****

Me and Sierra went to the temple in the middle of the city. She told me that her uncle brings wisdom to the other dragons who need it.

Meanwhile, I was still complaining to her about the whole carrying me like a hatchling thing. But acting like the hatchling's mother, she said, "Alright, I've said I was sorry, so just drop it already!"

I giggled at her, "Good, or else otherwise I'll pick you up like a hatchling."

Sierra laughed and asked, "How are you going to do that?"

I just shrugged, "I'll find a way."

Me and Sierra went inside the temple and I looked around in awe. Wow, their religion is a lot different than mine!

Sierra looked down at me and said, "Remember to behave yourself. My uncle is so old fashioned he always took things seriously."

I grinned at her, "Wouldn't want him pissed off at me, if he's anything like you."

Sierra rolled her eyes, "Whatever you little bastard."

I shushed her, "Hey, watch it! We're in a church."

Sierra said, "Actually this is not a church, this is a temple."

I shrugged, "What's the difference?"

She answered, "Humans have churches, my kind has temples, that's the difference."

I was going to argue that my kind also has temples, but then a voice interrupted us, "Is someone here?" Me and Sierra looked and saw a old blue dragon coming to us. He smiled when he saw us, "Niece! I see you've brought your friend here." Then he walked up to Sierra and nuzzled her.

Sierra nuzzled back, "Good afternoon, uncle!"

I waved at him, "Hello there!"

The old blue dragon grinned down at me and said, "Well hello there, you must be the human that my niece has been talking about." He cocked his head, "What's your name?"

I put a hand to my chest, "Wayne."

He lowered his head to my level and he started to smell me. I giggled and asked, "What are you doing?"

Sierra's uncle answered, "Greeting you."

I laughed and pushed his head slightly away, "Well you're smelling me like a wild animal! But thanks for the greeting."

He raised his head and said, "Sure, so how's life here in this city? I know that it's your first time staying here in the dragon city."

I beamed at him, "Oh it's great. I already made a few friends here in this city and I don't have any problems at all."

Sierra's uncle smiled down at me, "That's good and I'm sorry about my niece's behavior before. I know that she has kidnapped you and she treated you like you were her minion. It wasn't fair."

I waved him off, "Don't worry about it. Me and Sierra are cool now. In fact your niece has been treating me quite well for the past two days."

He nodded, "Good, cause if she didn't I would kick her ass."

Sierra joined in, "And believe me Wayne, I've seen him fight before, he would win." Then she giggled.

I giggled as well, "Yeah I can imagine."

Then her uncle looked at me and said, "You know, you're the second human who has ever came to this city. I'm sure Sierra told you about Eric? Well he came to this city years ago. Quite a chap he was!"

I smiled at him, "Gee, what an honor!"

He smiled and said, "Well come Wayne, let me show you around in this temple, you might learn a few things. About our ancestors. About our religion."

*****

Night came once again, and here I was laying on the furs in Sierra's room, reading one of the human books that she has.

But while I was reading, I was thinking about everything that Sierra's uncle said to me today. While he was showing me the depictions on the walls in the temple. How the ancestors built this city SO many years ago. And how this city has been hidden all these years from the outside world. And also how did the dragons know how to speak my kind's language.

Well how the dragons learned to speak my kinds language. He said that the ancestors from back then actually knew our language and they taught their offspring how to speak it. Strange story if you ask me. I wonder how and when the ancestors were born. I guess their race is a lot more different than mine.

Apparently this city has been around for a long time. Way long before I was born. He even told me how this city has been hidden. See he says that this city has this sort of magic that the ancestors have put on the city before they died. Some kind of invisibility spell on the whole city. I guess that's why the human race hasn't seen this city before. Not even heard of it.

I even asked him how come the dragon race is still alive even after a thousand years and even he thinks that the ancestors are keeping them alive somehow. But I think that there's a scientific explanation about it.

The old dragon said that the invisibility cloak over the city has magical properties. Could that cloak somehow keep the dragons alive for a long time? Make them age slower than normal. Is that why Sierra's uncle is still alive? Did he age slower than normal? I wonder...

I heard footsteps in the room and I smiled and put the book I was reading down on one of the furs. Sierra strolled in here with a basket full of apples she was getting and she said, "Well Wayne, here are some apples for you and me. Hope you like them. Cause I've had them before, they're quite delicious."

I still grinned at her, "And here I thought you've only eaten meat throughout your whole life."

Sierra giggled and said, "Hey I've eaten plenty of other things other than meat before. It's just that meat is my favorite thing to eat." Then she sat the basked full of apples close to me and sat down on her haunches in front of me, "You want to dig in? Or am I going to eat all the apples myself?"

I laughed and then I shook my head, "Maybe later. I'm not even hungry anyways. Besides that I've already ate with you at the Braveheart today, after we were done talking to your uncle."

Sierra's eyes went wide and then she said, "Oops I forgot, I guess I have a bigger stomach than you do."

I giggled at her, "Yeah maybe. After all you're bigger than me."

She lowered her head to my level and narrowed her eyes at me, "Are you calling me fat?"

I laughed and then I rubbed her nose with my hand, "You're cute, you know that?"

She smiled and said, "I know you're deliberately changing the subject."

I shrugged, "So what if I was? You going to eat me, like the apples?"

She said, "Nope, besides you would probably taste bad." We both laughed at the statement. Then she saw the book on the fur near me, "What's that?"

I followed her gaze and answered, "It's one of the books that you've brought with you from home. I was reading it. And I have to say, I've never even heard of this book, not to mention it's quite old." I picked it up and gestured it to her, "Where did you get these books anyway?"

She smiled, "Lets just say...I've stolen those books years ago from some traveler and I've had them ever since. It was sometime after I started to live in my cave back at your home. God that traveler seemed weird looking, like he was a thief as well."

I giggled, "Look who's talking. I'm talking to one in front of me."

She giggled softly and started to scratch behind her neck, "...Yeah, whatever."

I asked, "So why do you have them?"

She smiled, "Because I read them."

My eyes went wide and then I narrowed my eyes at her, "You're making that up."

She gave me a mock gasp and put a paw to her chest, "Me? Making that up? I would never!" Then she laughed.

I got up on my two feet and said to her, "Fine, prove it."

Sierra nodded and tried to reach for the book in my hand, but then I moved it away from her, "No, not that one. I'll pick one." I went to her shoulder bag that she brought with her before we came to this city and searched through it.

Finally I've found another book so she can read it, it's a romance novel. Perfect. I turned around to give her the book, "Here, read this one. I'm want to hear you read it out loud."

Sierra took the book out of my hand and she opened it in her paws. Then when she cleared her throat and started to read out loud, my jaw dropped when I've listened, "Chapter one, Princess Dana looked at the letter she received from Prince Cornelius. She was so happy,  she would be thrilled to see him after so many years of being separated from him. She always remembered how friendly he was when they were little and-"

I took the book out of her hand and read the first part of the chapter and my eyes went wide when I realized she was reading every singe word! She really was reading!

I looked up at her and asked, "Did...Did you read this?"

Sierra laughed and said, "You've just told me to read and now you're asking me if I've read it. You should've seen your face." She shot up her head proudly, "Classic!"

I laughed while I was still stunned about this revelation and put the book down on the furs, "Oh my god. You really can read! But...How did you do that?"

Sierra smiled, "Eric taught me how to read."

I tilted my head, "He did? He taught you how to read our language?"

She nodded, "Yes he did. You see, one day I wanted to read his language. So one day, he taught me how to read the human language. It was simple enough."

I gave her a smile, "Wow, that's really amazing. You really are one of a kind."

She looked down at her feet, "Yeah."

I gave her a concerned look, 'What's wrong?"

She shook her head, "Nothing."

I walked up to her and took her chin in my hands, "I know, you miss Eric."

She looked at me, her eyes were about to be filled with tears, "It's more than that....I...I love him."

I hugged her head against my chest and petted her, "I know girl. I know you really love him. I know it's hard to let him go."

She pulled away from me and raised her head from my level, "You don't get it. I can't let him go. I want to, but I can't. You see, do you remember when I've thought that it was my fault that he died? Well it still feels like it is. I can't move on from the fire Wayne. I can't no matter how hard I try to, I can't. I love him, but I didn't save him."

I had a sad look on my face, "Sierra, it wasn't your fault to begin with. You shouldn't really blame yourself for his death. Believe me, I feel that way when my best friend died. And even one day I have to let her go. But still, you shouldn't blame yourself."

She shook her head, "No, it is my fault, it is." Then she ran out of the room.

I yelled for her, "Sierra!" Then I ran after her. She wasn't heading downstairs, she was heading to the top of the motel. I ran upstairs and found my way onto the roof. Sierra was already sitting on the edge of the roof, by the time I've found her.

I took slow steps toward her and I stood beside her and then I've asked her, "Are you okay?"

She shook her head, "No."

I put my hand on her body, I said, "Hey if it makes you feel any better, I don't think it's your fault that he died. I wouldn't think that way about you. Not ever."

She closed her eyes tight, "But it was."

"Come on Sierra. Do you really believe that? I mean I don't think you were the one who killed him. Someone else did, I'm sure of that, but you, nope."

She opened her eyes, but she still didn't look at me, "Wayne, can I ask you something?" She didn't wait for me to answer and she asked, "Did you ever...Did you ever feel so guilty and that you've wanted to die?"

My face went wide and I asked, "You wanted to kill yourself?"

She said, "I've wanted to, more than once. I wanted to fly up so high into the air and then plummet myself into the earth headfirst. Break my neck first and then that would have broken every bone in my body. Believe me, I've wanted to do that for a long time. Cause I've felt like I've deserved it for not saving Eric."

I took a step back from her, "Sierra..."

She sighed and said, "Wayne, you have no idea what guilt is, you really don't know it as much as I do."

I shook my head, "No, I do. I do know what it's like."

She finally looked at me and shouted, "You don't get it! Everyday after he died, I wished I did saved him. I wanted to, in fact so much so I could even feel it. And you know something Wayne? Sometimes I think he's still out there somewhere. Calling for my name. Yelling for me to save him. But...I can't because he's not here and he's gone! I want my Eric back, Wayne. So I wouldn't have this guilt anymore."

I walked toward her and then I put my hand to her face, "Sierra listen, I don't hate you for what happened, I wasn't there. And I know that I'm not Eric and all that, but I would still help you. Hell I could sing you another song, if you want."

She exclaimed, "But you're not HIM Wayne! So how would you understand me?"

After she asked me that, I leaned close to her nose and kissed it. Her eyes went wide and when I pulled away and looked into her eyes, I said, "I know a lot more than you think. And I understand you more than you think. No matter what you say. Listen, I know I'm not Eric, but I can still be your friend. You said that I remind you of him, right? Well then picture me as him, right now. Pretend that I'm him and I know that he would say, it's not your fault. Please...For me."

She looked at me for another moment, and then she nodded. She closed her eyes, trying to picture me as Eric in front of her. After another moment has passed she said, "Eric...Are you...Are you there? Please, tell me it's not my fault and then I can move on from you. Please. Eric, I loved you and I'm trying to move on, but please...Help me."

Knowing that it's my cue to say it, and I've softly said to her, "It was never your fault. I've never blamed you for it. I will never forget you, but please...Go on with your life. And be happy. Never forget all the times we've spent together. Never let go of those memories. And they will never fail you. I will always remember you. Goodbye, Sierra."

And with that she opened her eyes and looked at me. She had tears in her eyes, "Wayne."

I smiled at her, "Sierra."

Sierra then nuzzled my chest and just held herself there. I wrapped my hands on her head, holding her close to me, and then she started sobbing.

She sobbed for a long time. I could feel that my shirt is getting wet from all the tears that have fallen. Finally after a long time, she finally pulled away from me and I could see that she's better.

I smiled at her, "Better?"

She nodded, "Better. Actually, a lot more better than that. I really thought that Eric was talking to me, but I knew that it was you all along. You've really helped me Wayne. And you know...I don't know how fate has brought us together, but I'm glad that it did. Despite how I've treated you, how much I've hated you, you've still stayed with me. I don't know how I deserved your friendship, but I wouldn't trade it for another human to replace you. You...Saved my life, Wayne. In more ways than one. I...Don't know how I would've felt, if you've never met me."

I wrapped my arms around her neck and hugged her, "You're not the only one. You've...Saved my life as well. In more ways than one."

I pulled away from her and said, "Thank you."

She smiled at me, "No Wayne, thank you. For everything."

We stared at each other for a long time and then I came up with an idea, "Hey Sierra, I think I know something else that would cheer you up."

She cocked her head, "What?"

*****

I've just climbed on Sierra's back, getting to ride on her back. It took some doing but it wasn't easy getting up there. But against all odds, I've actually made it.

I remember the night when Sierra took me in her paws to fly us all the way to the city, around the time when she didn't trust me. Now for the very first time, I'm actually going to ride on her back. This is going to be great!

She looked back at me over her shoulder and said, "You ready?"

I nodded, "As I'll ever be."

Sierra said, "Remember Wayne, tuck your legs close to my body and wrap your hands around my neck, but not too tight. Don't worry, you won't fall. I promise."

I gave her an encouraging smile, "Lets go."

She smiled back and then she looked up ahead. She started to flap her wings. I could feel the wind coming from them. Not very long, we started to get off the ground. She was almost ready for take off.

Sierra was sure she was off the ground far enough for her to move away from the motel and soon we were up in the air. Not very long, she took us higher and higher until we were flying over the city, during the night. I gasped in delight at the sight.

It's...Beautiful from up here.

Soon she had a burst of speed and flew very fast around the city. I shrieked in shock and held onto her tight. She laughed at my scream and said, "Hang on!" Then after she said that, she made a big flip in the air, I held onto her for dear life. And when she as done with the loop, she kept on flying.

I breathed in shock, but then I started to calm down. I looked down and I could see the lights in the dragon city.

When I saw the sight down below, a smile slowly formed on my face. We...We're flying! We're actually flying!

Sierra took us higher over the city again. Basking in the joy of flight.

I laughed with joy. I smiled down at the city. And then Joanna came into my mind. I think this is what heaven feels like. I feel...Happy here.

Joanna...You would have loved this. If you were here with me and Sierra, you really would have loved this.

I feel happy Joanna. You would have been proud.

I love you...Mother.

Eric....Don't worry Eric, I'll be there for Sierra now. No matter what happens, I always will.
