\n The third part to War tails of the white wolf. I've got to calculate how fast I can actually type, I keep messing up with how long it's going to take me to write and I get done days faster then I think I would.

\n I don't think ya'll care if a story gets done faster, so here enjoy. I can say for sure the next chapter will have a lot of fighting in it.

\n Rrahkarr and Lliam both had a strange look on their faces as they examined the two fox's. Both of them had brown head hair, a deep hue of red fur instead of the usual orange, along with the normal white fur running from under they jaws and down their chests, and the backs of their arms and legs and the tips of their tails. The only black fur on them was their gloves and socks and the tips of their ears. Rrahkarr looked over to his brother and noticed the look on his face and smiled.

\n "You must be thinking about what I was thinking about." He said and laughed at the look Lliam gave him.

\n "I certainly hope they're not like them!" Lliam said then looked back at the fox's. "Those two were enough trouble and they did things half assed!"

\n "I know...imagine what they could have done if they put more effort into what they did." Rrahkarr said and laughed at Lliam's face of worry.

\n "I don't want to imagine what could have happened." Lliam immediately smiled after recalling a memory "Remember when they made that bomb out of fireworks, and blew up that old tree? Now put that with what you said." Lliam said and this time laughed at Rrahkarr who had a look of shock on his face.

\n "Oh! No thanks on that; I nearly got impaled when that branch flew by me." Rrahkarr said while he shook a little from the thought.

\n "What happened?" Sara asked after seeing Rrahkarr shake.

\n "Oh just recalling an old memory about some old friends." Lliam said with a smile.

\n "Yeah one where I nearly got impaled!" Rrahkarr said, acting all dramatic.

\n "Quit being so dramatic, you're acting like a scared pup!" Lliam said jokingly.

\n "Yeah okay." Rrahkarr said as he and Lliam went over to the first of the fox's and proceeded to wake him up.

\n After they shook him a little he opened his eyes and drowsily looked at both of them before closing his eyes again. They were about to shake him again but he shot right out of the bed, and landed right on his muzzle. He grabbed his muzzle and started rubbing it while a tear went down his cheek fur.

\n "You okay?" Lliam asked as the fox sat up.

\n "Yeah...where am I?" He asked as he looked around the room.

\n "Your onboard the I.S.F. Darwin, Medical bay." Rrahkarr said to him.

\n "What happened...where's my brother?!" He shouted in panic.

\n "Calm down, he's in the bed next to you." Lliam said as the fox looked to where his brother lay.

\n "What happened to the Captain and the others, and the other team?" He asked as they helped him back into the bed.

\n "I'm sorry but you two are the only survivors from your team, and...I'm the only survivor from the other team." Lliam said to him as Rrahkarr walked over to wake the other fox.

\n "So why are we on the Darwin? Why weren't we taken over to the Baker? Oh and what happened to those Humanitists?" The fox shot out questions left and right and Lliam just laughed "What's so funny?"

\n "You are my friend. You're asking questions faster then I can process them, just slow down a little." Lliam said, still laughing.

\n "Oh...um sorry." The fox said when a groan came from the other fox.

\n "What happened...why does my head hurt?" The other fox asked.

\n "You were hit in the head just like the others, and before you ask you're onboard the I.S.F. Darwin and in its Med bay." Rrahkarr said as the fox sat up in bed.

\n "Okay...so, what happened after I blacked out?" He calmly asked, rubbing his head.

\n "First off, what are your names?" Lliam asked.

\n "Well I'm Private Nathaniel Barker, but I go by Nate." The fox next to Rrahkarr said.

\n "And I'm Private Daniel Barker, I go by Dan." The fox next to Lliam said.

\n "Okay then Nate and Dan, well I'm Private William Sutarra, and I go by Lliam."

\n "I'm Captain Rrahkarr Sutarra; I'm Lliam's older brother, and as of five minuets ago you two along with Lliam were placed under my command." Rrahkarr told them.

\n "What?!" Both of them asked.

\n "Yeah...after both of our teams were captured ah...the Baker was taken over. No one was left alive, and the ship was torn apart and key systems where stolen." Lliam said, sorrow in his voice.

\n "The Captain of the Darwin; Admiral Keeton, took you three in and placed you under Rrahkarr's command. He's already making up the report and is going to send it to command. Oh and I'm Head Doctor Sara Morris of the I.S.F. Darwin, pleased to meet you two." Sara said as they stared at the black and white vixen.

\n Seeing them look her over, Rrahkarr laughed a little. "Easy you two, she's already seeing somebody."

\n "What?" Dan asked.

\n "Dan I think he's saying that they are going out." Nate said to his brother.

\n "Oh." Dan said and looked down, a blush clearly evident as he laid his ears back.

\n "Nothing to be embarrassed about Dan; I was just letting you know." Rrahkarr said as he patted Dan's shoulder.

\n "Anyway I think we should get some rooms assigned to them, don't you think Rrahkarr? The voyage to E'zelah is going to be a long one, even in hyperspace." Sara said

\n "Wait a sec, we're going to E'zelah?" Nate asked, with a twinge of fear in his voice.

\n Rrahkarr let out a sigh before he said "Yes, are destination is E'zelah. We are going to act as reinforcements, and probably help deliver medical aid to the injured. Trying to get any info other than that would be like taking a shot in the dark, we don't know anything else."

\n "Rrahkarr why don't you go and talk to the quartermaster, go see if there are rooms close to ours on this deck for these three would you." Sara said, giving him a stern look.

\n "Yes hun, and a word of advice to you three. When you get a girl, make sure to always follow the three rules of a happy relationship with a female. Rule one she is always right. Rule two if you find that she is wrong, refer to rule one." He said before a pillow was thrown at him from Sara.

\n "And rule three if you find yourself winning an argument, apologize immediately!" He yelled as he ran out the door before another pillow could be thrown at him.

\n The other males in the room laughed but stopped when Sara gave them a dirty look, then smiled. "He's right...mostly."

\n ************

\n Fifteen minuets later each of them had their own rooms. And after Sara suggested they take a shower and clean up; and more specifically to Lliam to try to get his blood out of his fur, they headed off.

\n After his shower and drying off, Lliam went over to a body sized replicator that scanned his body size and produced some uniforms for him that the I.S.F. Darwin used. (Each ship has something different on its uniforms, making them unique to that ship.)

\n He was halfway dressed when he just sat down on the edge of the bed that was now his. Everything that he had on the Baker was now gone or destroyed, including the only picture he had of his little sister Maya. He sat there and for some reason didn't feel all too different about the loss of the I.S.F. Baker and her crew, he hardly knew anyone on the ship so there was no emotional string connecting him to it. However he thought that he should be moved by the loss of life in general, but he didn't even feel that.

\n Lliam looked about the room and noticed it was similar to his on the Baker. A twelve by twelve room with a personal bathroom and closet attached a comm unit on the wall with a list of numbers, and a desk with a computer, and a replicator finished the room.

\n A knock on the door shook him out of the strange feelings he was having, and he went to see who was knocking. Right when the door opened a rectangular object went flying in; nearly hitting Lliam in the face, but was caught before it made contact.

\n "It was the only thing that wasn't destroyed in your room...well, worth saving anyway." Rrahkarr said as he stood in the corridor, wearing casual clothes.

\n "What is it?" Lliam said as he spun it around and was surprised to see the picture of their smiling little sister.

\n "It's in a different case. The other one was crushed, but the picture was fine. Mind if I come in?" Rrahkarr said.

\n "Yeah sure, when did you go over to the Baker?" Lliam asked as Rrahkarr pulled out the chair from the desk and sat in it.

\n "While you were taking a shower." He said.

\n "ATTENTION, ATTENTION ALL PERSONNEL PREPARE FOR HYPERSPACE JUMP!" The ships computer said over the intercom.

\n "Looks like where about to leave." Lliam said and looked out the plasma window in his room.

\n Rrahkarr joined him in looking out the window when the slow moving stars became distorted and stretched as the ship entered hyperspace. They watched the view as brothers and eventually Rrahkarr turned around and activated the computer, pulled up a certain file and a music window filled the screen. Lliam saw what his brother was doing and laughed.

\n "You pulling up that song?" Lliam said as he looked at the screen.

\n "Maybe." Rrahkarr said as he searched through his personal music file.

\n "Maybe my ass is on fire, you always play that song first when you pull up that file."

\n Just then a metal rift guitar solo started, and Lliam laughed "I knew it! Metal Meltdown, by Judas Priest!"

\n "Of course, you know I love that band." Rrahkarr said and laughed as he turned the volume down.

\n "I know you do, you love a lot of those twenty first century metal bands." Lliam said, punching his brother in the arm.

\n "They knew how to make music back then, and have a good time. They were metal gods!"

\n "Why do I get the feeling you listen to that when your in your fighter?" Lliam said after he sat down on the bed.

\n "Probably because I do, although nowhere near that loud; I still need to be able to here what's going on over the comms"

\n The song ended and the song that was up next started playing. "Hey now there's one I like." Lliam said.

\n "Crazy train, by the prince of darkness himself huh? Yeah I like that one too." Rrahkarr said as a guitar solo started and he started to play air guitar, trying to mimic what the real thing was doing.

\n Just then someone else knocked at the door. Rrahkarr went and answered it, and saw Dan and Nate. "What do you to need?" He asked.

\n "We heard a loud sound coming from in here and we just wanted to know what is was." Dan said.

\n "Old ass music!" Lliam said as Rrahkarr laughed.

\n "It is old music but we like it." Rrahkarr said.

\n "Mind if we come in and listen to it as well?" Nate asked.

\n "It sounds pretty good." Dan said.

\n Just when they came in the song ended and another song came on; this one being a little mellower then Crazy Train.

\n "Well I just heard, the news today, it seems my life, is going to change." The singer in the band started.

\n "Where did you find that one Rrahkarr, I love that song?" Lliam said and turned it up

\n "Then tears of joy, stream down my face, with arms wide open." The singer continued.

\n "I managed to find it again after..." Rrahkarr stopped as the painful memory of the last time they listened to the song; not minuets before they came home to find it was wrecked and there parents killed.

\n Lliam remembered as well but shook the feelings off and tried to smile "There was nothing much we could do, let's just be happy that you and I as well as Maya; thanks to you, were unharmed." He said to his brother who managed to put up a smile.

\n "You're right, we should be thankful." Rrahkarr said as he let out a sigh.

\n "What happened to you two?" Nate asked, feeling the gloom that was now in the room.

\n The wolf brothers looked at each other and decided to let them know about their past. It was always better when you talk about such things rather then keep them locked away in your heart. About thirty minuets later the fox twins apologized for asking their question but were told that it was better that they did.

\n "So where's your little sister Maya?" Dan asked as he leaned against the wall.

\n "How old is she...and how old are you two?" Nate asked after bring in a couple chairs from his and his brothers rooms.

\n "Well Maya's about to turn eleven here in about two months and I'm twenty." Lliam said to them.

\n "I'm twenty five, and if you excuse me I got to go pester a certain vixen." Rrahkarr said as he got up and left while the others laughed.

\n "Well we're both nineteen." Dan said.

\n A couple of second later Rrahkarr came back and said "I forgot to tell you but the Admiral wants to see you three. He's in his dayroom; it's attached to the bridge so head there." Rrahkarr said and left again.

\n ***********

\n Lliam, Nate and Dan finally found themselves on the bridge; after first heading to the front of the ship only to remember that the I.S.F. Darwin was a Destroyer class star ship where the I.S.F. Baker had been a Cruiser class, the difference was that on a Cruiser class the bridge was in front and on a Destroyer class it was in the middle and on top. They had to ask a couple of the Darwin's crew which way was the fastest to the bridge a couple of times before they got there.

\n They started towards the Admirals dayroom but were stopped when the guard asked them to stop.

\n "State your business." The guard asked. Rifle slung over his shoulder.

\n "The Admiral wanted to talk to us about something." Lliam said as the guard looked at him for a second before realization came across his face.

\n "Oh, you're Captain Rrahkarr's brother aren't you? Yes the Admiral will see you now." The guard said as he typed something on the doors lock pad.

\n The doors opened and the three of them stepped inside. On all the walls in the room there were medals, trophies, pictures and so on. In the center of the room by the back wall were three chairs and a huge desk with papers all about it, and the Admiral who sat over them.

\n "Sir you wanted to see us?" Lliam asked as he stood at attention, as did Nate and Dan.

\n "Ah Lliam, yes please at ease and take a seat everyone." The Admiral said and smiled at the three of them.

\n They took their seats and waited patiently for the Admiral to speak. He was looking for a certain piece of paper among the hundreds on his desk. In a few minuets he had what he was looking for and handed it to Lliam. Once he looked over it he handed it to Dan who then handed it to Nate.

\n "Sir are those transfer orders for us three?" Lliam asked as Nate read it.

\n "Yes, transfer orders go fast when the ones being transferred no longer have a ship and the ship their on has already agreed to take them." Admiral Keeton said as he smiled.

\n "So we are officially crew of the I.S.F. Darwin now?" Dan asked as Nate handed the orders back to the Admiral.

\n "Not yet, all you have to do are sign these papers and I have to send them to command." He said with another smile.

\n "Sir I have one more question." Lliam said as the Admiral looked at him.

\n "If it is within my power to answer then ask away."

\n "Is it possible to send a message to earth, to a private address from here?" Lliam asked and looked at the Admiral.

\n "For anyone except high ranking officers no, unless we were at a starbase that is. Why do you ask?"

\n "Oh...it's just that Rrahkarr salvaged a picture of our little sister from the Baker and it reminded me that I wanted to send a message to her. We were going to be at a starbase within a couple days once we checked the civilian ship out, and I was going to send it then." Lliam said, a little saddened he couldn't send off his message now for a long time.

\n "How old is your little sister?" Admiral Keeton asked.

\n "She's ten sir, about to turn eleven in two months." Lliam told him while he scratched his chin.

\n "Hmm if you get the message ready and tell me the address I'll send it out for you." He said and smiled at the look Lliam was giving him.

\n "Thank you sir, she really looks forward to seeing our messages." Lliam said with a smile as the Admiral got up.

\n "You're welcome Lliam, now if you three would sign this." He said, putting the transfer orders on the desk in front of them.

\n They all signed the paper and handed it back to him. They said there farewells and left the Admirals dayroom, but not before he told them to take Sergeant Matthews with them and take a tour of the Darwin.

\n It turned out that Sergeant Matthews was the current guard outside the Admirals dayroom, and his shift just ended.

\n "I hope you don't mind but I need to stop by my quarters and change into some off duty cloths." He said as they entered the central turbolift.

\n "No not at all." Nate said as the Sergeant hit the button labeled crew quarters deck-C.

\n "Thanks, and call me Neal." He said as the doors closed.

\n Sergeant Neal Matthews is a Five foot seven inch tall human with light brown hair and blue eyes. He has a lean muscular build, and is very athletic. He also has a high IQ which was about 185, and had brilliant defensive and offensive tactical ideas and was commended when he used one of his plans in a battle not to long ago to save not only his commanding officer but his entire squad.

\n They arrived at Neal's room and he quickly changed into some slacks and a T-shirt. He then started showing them around. He showed them the training deck which was complete with a holosuite for training; not only hand to hand but all forms of weapons from swords and bows, solid round ammunition in twenty first century guns right up to the now slandered phase guns they used today. After the training deck he showed them the hunger bay, the recreation rooms, engineering, and decided to end the tour with a break in the coffee lounge.

\n Lliam and Dan found out very quick that Nate loved to talk about engineering, hyperspace and anything else concerning technology. Nate and Neal would not shut up about replicators or transporters, even though they were both chugging down hot coffee.

\n "I swear if they don't shut up I'm going to hit one of them." Lliam said as Neal and Nate talked away.

\n "You can take on the Sergeant I'll go for my brother." Dan jokingly suggested.

\n Lliam tried to get his attention off of what they were talking about and decided to look around the coffee lounge. It was a large room with several large plasma windows that showed the distorted stars flying by. They were on the starboard side of the ship and could see a star cluster that resembled one you could see from earth.

\n He grinned when he remembered Maya, Rrahkarr and himself laying outside, just stargazing. He then took another look around and noticed an older piano in the left corner of the room. He had a thought, got up and walked towards it.

\n It was sitting next to the bar, and the bartender saw him heading towards it.

\n "I see you're interested in her, but I haven't seen you around here before." The bartender said when Lliam was close enough.

\n He heard what he said and changed course to go and talk with him. "Yeah...I haven't been here that long. I was one of the survivors from the Baker. I haven't seen one that old in a long time. How old it she?"

\n The bartender was in is early forties, a big black human at least six foot seven with huge arms. He was big and muscular, and looked like he could punch a hole through a bulkhead. His buzz cut hair was graying a little from its dark brown color and receded a little. His brown eyes looked like they saw a lot of horrible things in his life and when he looked at someone; you could tell he was reading them like an open book.

\n "That one there is about two hundred and thirty years old. Thank god we have replicators that can create more strings for her; otherwise she would just be a relic." He said and laughed.

\n "She plays?" Lliam asked as he took another look.

\n "Yeah...most nights we have the Head doctor in here playing. She's really good at it."

\n "I didn't know Sara played the piano."

\n "Oh so you know Doctor Morris do you?" The bartender said as he leaned on the bar.

\n "Somewhat...my brother knows her better. He's been dating her for quite a while from what I understand." Lliam said as he sat down on a bar stool.

\n "Ah ha, so you're Rrahkarr's little brother. I'm one of his friends names John James, but people call me JJ." He said and held out his hand.

\n "I'm William but call me Lliam." He said and shook JJ's hand.

\n "So, I haven't seen Rrahkarr or Sara in here yet today. Wonder what's up?" JJ said.

\n Lliam looked thoughtful for a second then said "I think I have an idea but I'll just keep that to myself." And mentally added "Jeesh bro, how long you gunna be in bed with her. It's already been three hours."

\n "I think I might now what those two are doing but like you said, I'll keep it to myself." He said and laughed.

\n "Do...do you mind if I try playing something on her?" Lliam asked, having learned to play the piano when he was six; and loved to play unlike other kids who were forced to learn how to play an instrument.

\n "Sure thing...it might be nice to listen to something different for a change."

\n Lliam went and sat down on the bench and noticed the piano was already set up to play; probably from Sara always playing. He fumbled around a bit, trying to get reacquainted with playing the piano.

\n Soon the missed keys and wrongly hit keys started to drop and soon he was playing as if he never had stopped.

\n "I was starting to worry you didn't even know how to play." JJ said as Lliam settled in better.

\n "No it's just been that long." Lliam said and tried to think of something to play.

\n Suddenly his eyes lit up and he had a soft smile on his lips, he closed his eyes as he began to play. Without noticing everyone in the lounge stopped talking and were paying full attention to what he was playing. To them it seemed like their hearts where just lifted out of the abyss and taken to heaven by the soft melodies he was playing. Everyone in the room had a smile on their face as they listened; no one spoke a word, fearing that this peaceful and tranquil song he played would stop.

\n No one even noticed as Sara and Rrahkarr entered the room, drawn by the song that was emanating from inside. When they looked to see who was playing, they were both shocked and in that instant Rrahkarr was able to recall what this song was.

\n Speaking as quietly as he could to Sara he said "This...this song was our mothers lullaby to him. When he learned how to play the piano, he pieced the lullaby she sung together and this was the outcome. His first song he played for the entire family, at age nine." A tear went down Rrahkarr's eye as he continued "After our parents died...he never touched the piano again. I think...by him playing this song...he's finally decided to let go of the past." He finished and let her continue to listen to the song.

\n Lliam was so wrapped up in the song he didn't even realize he was crying, the entire song he cried. He let his heart and soul pour out and through his fingers as he played. He repeated the song three times without even making it seem like he did, he just continued where the song would let him. When he finished he opened his eyes and realized he had been crying, he chuckled a little but stopped when a thunderous applause happened behind him, in fact JJ had turned on his comm and set it to connect with all PA speakers through out the ship and everyone onboard had heard Lliam's song and applauded.

\n Lliam was embarrassed at first that everyone had heard his song but he stood up and bowed for the crowd and got even more applause. He stood back up and had a huge smile on his face as he left the piano and headed back towards his seat, with people patting his back or his shoulders and giving him compliments.

\n Rrahkarr and Sara had already found the table that Nate and Dan and the human Sergeant Neal were sitting, all of who stood up when Lliam came back to the table. When he was seated they all sat back down.

\n "Wow...I didn't know you could play that thing." Dan said.

\n "That was amazing, what is that song?" Neal asked.

\n "Yeah tell us what was it?" Nate added.

\n "Hey calm down all of you!" Rrahkarr said, knowing well that Lliam might not want to tell them about it.

\n "It's ok Rrahkarr...I'll tell them about it." He said and sighed.

\n He spent the next ten minuets telling them about the lullaby and how he turned it into a piano piece. Others sitting at tables next to them, expressed to him that they were sorry about what happened; he had giving the short story about the death of his parents, and that they were happy he decided to share his song with everyone.

\n Sara and Rrahkarr had ordered some drinks and when there were done they all turned in for the night, it being about 10:45 ship time.

\n Lliam fell asleep faster that night then any night before, and with a smile on his face. He hoped that the next few weeks until they arrived on E'zelah would pass by slowly and as happily as today did.
