Glad You Made It
I just had to draw her with the raven. It's hard to notice, but I must point out that the raven has three legs, which was intentional. I did put thought into the background, but I guess I wasn't prepared for drawing damaged houses in the distance.
I did three practice sketches on the figures before making it final. I drew this on the afternoon of Valentine's Day 2019. Eating a grilled cheese sandwich and a banana, and listening to Epica: The Holographic Principle, I drew with a pencil, most of which I erased in the colouring process; inked with an old-fashioned quill (believe it or not) and HandyArt black velvet ink; coloured with pencil crayons and markers. I spent (maybe) 70 minutes on this, start-to-finish.
