Thinking
I knew I wanted to draw from the start of the chapter and I had a few ideas for drawing it. I could've put in a lot of items, but I really didn't want to draw an opened box of mementoes. I stuck with just the sheathed sword on the wall, which, now that I think about it, might be a factual error in the backstory. So, here she is, just looking in her storage space, memories brought back.
I didn't put much work into it this time. I did only two sketches before deciding to make it final. On the evening of 13 June, 2019, eating fruit salad, and listening to Dead by April: Incomparable, I drew only the figure with a pencil, erased in the colouring process. I coloured with watercolour pencils, a wet brush, markers, and pencil crayons. I spent 55 minutes making this start-to-finish.
