Chance Encounter
I drew inspiration for this picture from the first opening credits sequence of "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's" (the original version).
One thing I could have done better was Vadimir's appearance. I didn't think through how much of his face to make brown as it's the front of him. I also hoped to show the difference in how I colour these two wolves.
Only the heads were drawn with pencil, most of which was erased in the colouring process. Inked with a fountain pen and black-velvet ink. Death's fur is coloured with pencil crayons. Vadimir's fur is coloured with watercolour pencils and a wet brush. The rest is coloured with pencil crayons and markers. On the evening of 10 Dec, 2019: drinking tea, eating an apple and some chocolate cake, and listening to Within Temptation: The Heart of Everything, I spent 86 minutes start-to-finish.
