He Sees Who I Am
A scene from the chapter of my book.
I had to do this vertically, to get the body that I wanted of the character. That meant managing space for her friend. I've been learning to manage space for figures. The roof was drafted with shingles much larger, but that would be unrealistic. The atmosphere sort of came from a last-minute change. I forgot the difference between dawn and dusk, and the moment is in the former. If you even consider to joke about her position, fuck off.
This was done in the afternoon of 18 Nov, 2019. Only the figures were drawn with pencil, most of which was erased in the colouring process. Coloured with pencil crayons and markers. I drank tea and ate an apple. I listened to Epica: Requiem For The Indifferent. I spent (maybe) 85 minutes on this, start-to-finish.
