Unknown Worlds: OutWhirls
I had found myself on the ground, waking up. Pondering about the pirate that we had seen upon the deep part of the cavern close by. While I stared into the blue skies, I flapped my wings sighing for a bit as the dusts were raised and flew around for a bit obstructing my views of the blue skies above. Someone landed next to me, I turned my head over as more and more of them landed and noticed that it was the crewmates; they all gathered among themselves. Some frowning and others smiling upon their faces. But their eyes were to me as if I had something on my face. I got up onto my legs, dusting any sands that were upon my body before responding to them. "Anything on how to rid ourselves of him?" "None yet." Shinron replied, shifting his eyes towards the seas as Tzico commented, "Maybe we should lured him here then throw him off into the seabed where he would be for-" "That sounds like a stupid idea." Replied Leonar, crossing his arms while he looked at him who replied back "But hey! It's an idea. It's stupid but an idea." Despite the groans, I smiled.
Forever since we had been stuck on this island; looking for ways to beat back at the guarding pirate that suddenly joined in onto the story and kicked everyone out of it. Hampering the progress of this series leading up into its fourth, drama, season or so I am assuming that it will be. I groaned suddenly remembering this, slapping my face with my claw making sounds as if I was whining about the 'evil' character that came upon us. Though with the sounds from my throat, I was surprise rather that everyone was silent about it. Except for Tzico who began blurting out things and plans that we should do that Leonar and Nor agreed on making him bait for something. I have no idea what they were planning; but I guess it should be good however.
While setting aside of the conversation all the while looking at them, listening in onto their silent conversation and suggestions on the topic at hand. I saw Shinron turned around and spread his wings; hoisting himself up into the blue air and flew off away from the rest of us. I also had noticed that everyone else did not pay any attention to their leader who was gone. Curious, I repeated him and flew up hoping to catch up. With the voices from the other three fading out from my ears the farther I went from them, the closer I am to Shinron till I finally caught up to him. When he caught wind of my appearance, he turned his head about looking behind him and spotting me. I waved back smiling faintly but he had no response towards me while we flapped our wings and headed forth retracing our steps back onto where we had last saw the 'evil' pirate.
You probably may be wondering why I emphasized the evil as an adjective towards the pirate, right? Well. The answer is quite simple, mind you. This pirate was not even evil. I mean really, he had finally appeared at the previous story and stole everything that we had! Our pieces, access to the portal, pieces, wallet and among naughty other things that I should probably not say on here. Although others might know what I am talking about. Anyway, I am getting off topic. This pirate just came at the final stretches of the story and took everything we had, in summary of what I say before. Sorry guys. Then he tried to kill- Why am I explaining the previous story's plot when in fact you can just stop reading this and go read the other one before this. Go on. Do it!
I coughed. Shinron tucked his wings behind his back. Dive bombing onto the small grounds below where the forest resides below of us. He disappeared inside leaving me in the skies. I panicked after realizing that he was gone and tucked my wings back before diving onto the forest below. Hoping that he was there otherwise. I felt the winds blow against my face as I deaccelerate plummeting into the grounds below me. But as I drew closer, I tried breaking. No, not that car breaking or bicycle breaking that you readers have in the real world. I mean breaking in mid flight. Try watching a few summer birds who do this and you will see what I mean.
Landing onto the ground. I gave my wings a few beatings before perfectly landing my two feet upon the grounds of which I raised my head upward and glanced about. The forest ground. Trees were everywhere around me. All swaying to one side even though there was no wind that supported their direction. Among the trees were bushes that had apples in them. Most, however, were rotten to its core and others or even a few of them had worms in them which was gross… at least in my case it is. Disregarding breakfast upon sunrise, I looked over to where Shinron had landed perhaps was to my right, I think and started to walk there. I entered through the forest trees, folding my wings so they would not get stuck by them either. Continuing to walk heading further away from my position behind me, my ears perked up and now I am hearing something rustling in the bushes.
Blinking I turned around facing southward to where the sources of the rustling were. I paused in my tracks and stared at the rattling bush like a scolding teacher looking upon a guilty child or student. It did not take long however for whoever was inside there to emerged out. It was Xenao. I was surprise. But he in turn did not; for he was looking at me with a concern face upon his head. Staring at me as I walked to him, a bright grin upon my face in response while Xenao broke the silence between us and started, "Where is Shinron, Neriax? I just saw you two flew off without the rest of us and headed to this point in the deep forest." "I do not know, sadly." I frowned in response, glancing at him before departing my eyes away looking around. "I saw him land north from where I had been." "North?" Xenao asked, tilting his head to one side. I nodded and pointed northward. "Over there." I started and he looked over.
"Well." Xenao replied, taking a sigh from his breath before walking a few distance away from me. Then as he stopped, he turned facing me and added "Let's go then. Towards where you last spotted Shinron." "I am sure he is fine, although." I started, hoping that the quote he says does not lead to Shinron being missing. We may need to post a wanted poster just to raised awareness of where he was. For me, I could see it now in case he does disappear from the face of this story: The headlines would be 'Missing hatchling!' 'Shinron was last spotted North from where Neriax had landed.' 'five hundred dragon coins or less, if spotted in less than an hour'. Although, now that I had thought about it. No one would be able to help us find him if we award them with less if we found him quickly. Giving off a sigh, Xenao turned to me wondering what was on my mind. I shook my head afterwards before we started our departure to northward hoping that we-
Hearing Xenao whistled and stopped my train of thoughts as I looked over to him wondering what he was whistling about. We only walked a few inches off from our starting position but I looked and noticed a glow in the far distance away. Blinking a few times, I spoke to Xenao "You see that! What is that glow over there." "Not sure." He remarked, spreading his wings before leaving me in the dust. I hate it when every character had to leave or something! Why could not they just wait for me! The dust entered into my throat leaving me in a coughing fit for a while. It was so hard to see around me when there was so much dust about that I had to close my eyes and wait. Perhaps take a few steps away from it and into the clearing where it be safe to even opened. Having noticed that Xenao had disappeared out of thin air, I grinded my fangs together and pouted. Losing balanced onto my feet, I flopped down to the grounds and crossed my arms. Awaiting for anyone to come accompany me in the rest of my travels. But instead, I had to wait for a really long time till someone had indeed arrived.
And that someone was different than what I had expected. The pirate dragon stood in front of me. A grin upon his face while keeping his eyes meeting up with mines. I growled and frailed about; spreading my wings readying myself for a fight that would perhaps be the most greatest achievement of my life. My claws gripped and tighten while I rushed out towards the pirate. Getting closer towards him before trying to land a claw upon his thick scales. But to my surprise, it passed by already as if he was ghost. Unstable and losing my balance again, I rolled on the ground. The dusts and sands rose from the air surrounding him by the time I stopped rolling, struggling to get up. For he turned to me and smirked confidently, his claws slammed upon one another as I hear a crunched emerged upon impact. With his footsteps walking forth closing in the distance between us, I spoke out to him. "What are you? Dead?" I growled, lifting up my claw from the sands below looking at him. He just shook his head and laughed as if this was funny. "No silly. I just became an image of your imagination." "You mean, you're a fragment of my imagination." I corrected him and he nodded.
Quickly scrambling up to my feet; I raised my claws upward to my forehead and closed my eyes. Humming rather loudly, I ignored a comment that was spoken by my enemy. I think it was, 'what are you doing?' I was like this until I hear nothing. Opening my eyes again, I scanned around the arena were in but was rather surprise to see him here. Exclaiming, I pointed at him and growled "Why are you here? I thought I had erased you from my mind." "From… your mind?" He asked him, tilting his head to one side blinking for a couple of seconds wondering what I was doing. "From… your mind." He repeated again and I nodded smiling faintly while he looked at him with a confuse face of his. "You mean to say that all that waiting was just for you to erase me from your mind?" He asked, "Well…" I confessed, frowning as I shifted my eyes over to the left. Looking away from him, I also added "I thought it would work. Dragon psychic tricks, you know. Use the-" "Shut up." He replied, his voice turned stern for a moment there while staring at me with a serious face of his. "You are not psychic." I snapped my claw groaning after been slapped with reality.
"But…" I trailed and a smug emerged from my face then pointed at him again, "Going by that logic. If I am not psychic. You should not be an image projected from my mind." I heard him cursed after that and he disappeared finally after our 'fierce' and 'epic' battle against one another. Not really, I just like saying them. With a hum escaping from the depths of my throat, I grinned in mental victory while I hear rustles in the bushes surrounding me. Turning to them, I stared. But was relived afterwards when I noticed that it was Shinron and Xenao, both of which had four other pieces with them and I was rather surprise that they managed to do so. Walking towards them, I asked "How did you steal the pieces away from him?" "The evil pirate?" Xenao smiled faintly forcing me to nod, "He was gone, disappeared from the face of the realm for some strange reason… which was odd considering that we were-" "Never mind that!" I exclaimed, wagging my tail excitedly. "Put the pieces together and Wisk me back to Naria- I mean… to the kingdom." They looked at me quizzily and exchanged some looks upon one another. But without another word, they put the pieces together and a bright green glow emerged upon our eyes. In excitement, I threw myself to the center of the four pieces and soon escaped from the realm without even saying goodbye to any of them cause… I will meet them soon enough! In a season after the next one, I think.
